united states military as an enemy
Never, under any circumstance, should a guerrilla make an
enemy of the United States military. This thought is sobering,
but never mistake it for cowardice. Primarily, when guerrilla
warfare is employed, it involves a band of fighters, united by
a common cause, engaging in combat against a well-
equipped, well-trained, and often state-sanctioned military
unit. Although guerrilla campaigns have been successful
throughout history in many diverse parts of the world,
amongst many diverse peoples both racially and ideologically,
the United States of America in 2014 cannot be one of them.
Both Sitting Bull and Geronimo, the leaders of the two
greatest guerrilla bands in American history, the Lakota and
the Apache, were not capable. The current United States
Military Industrial Complex is now two centuries stronger. It
is the wealthiest, most well-armed, most destructive brute
force in the history of the world. It has perfect geographical
and strategic knowledge of every square inch of terrain within
its borders, thus eliminating one of the guerrilla's most
important potential advantages. Having superior knowledge
of the landscape isn't possible for a guerrilla. The United
States military has every strategic advantage. American
soldiers are funded by the same government they've sworn
allegiance to, they abide by the laws of a Constitution they've
took an oath to uphold, they live side by side with neighbors
and family and friends they will die to protect and serve, they
all share a perceived set of common values they call freedom,
they call life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. They will
kill men and women and children they've never met to
preserve this way of life. They will crush you.
