Dear World

continental styrofoam
huge tonsils!
litter bright color spots,
and smile.
(took a new way
home today)

.

Dear World,
   the opposite of you!
   no thanks anymore!
i've lost the taste for you!
   why so many headbands?
   why so much dust?

April, 2003

he likes crossed eyes; heroin.
gulp,
altruism.
be gentle, pliable, housebroken.
disrobe and dole out,
linear ties
   slender thighs
      fluid eyes
gulp,
an ocean in my belly,
a storm in my side,
white lies
  white lies
     white lies.

.

where are you, anyway?
hammered-sloshed-bleeding-broken?
famous-frothy-fake-fucked?
i love you like suede.
back-forth-rough-gentle
stretching.
a love like, war?
meant to be insatiable
painful
wrought with anguish
and comfort
masochism,
beauty.
I love you like Chagall
and 3am on uppers.
