Unholy Spirit

Un-sanctified,
engorged and
elevated by
thick black night,
weak and withered
by early morning’s
light, the obvious,
constant and un-
wanted suitor.

we buried
each arm
a few feet
either side

of his grave

he’d always
wanted
plenty of
elbow room

Lovely but Rotted

You lovingly share
a large part
of your beauty
with me

And smaller parts
with whoever
stumbles
upon them.
