Kite Full of Whiskey
It's a kite full of whiskey
a kite full of beer
as it washes away
all our sorrows and tears
as we raise the kite into the pale blue sky into the clouds
of tears up high
we pray it will answer
our prayers again
we pray it will finally
come down like rain
eclipsing the sun
like night and day
while washing all our tears
away...

for the first time
in years
