Emily DeSa Leslie was born & raised in the suburbs of Baltimore & began writing poetry at age 6. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Spanish & lives in Mathews County, Virginia with her daughter, Eloise Estelle Leslie. Emily & Eloise enjoy horses, swimming, vegetarian cooking, & gardening together.
